Shared Studios, Intergenerational Workshops & Community Exhibitions in Auzet

At LE HAUT PRESBYTERE, 04140 AUZET, REVES PASSIONS CREATEURS (Association Loi 1901, RNA W043000789) operates four permanent cultural programs designed to support self-taught creators, transmit manual skills across generations, and bring residents directly into contact with original creative processes.

1. Our Four Permanent Public Interest Programs

Unlike commercial art schools or private galleries, REVES PASSIONS CREATEURS never charges tuition fees, studio rental rates, or exhibition commissions. All membership fees and dues are fully reinvested in the association's public interest missions, and every program detailed below is financed through public cultural grants and municipal support.

Program 01 • Open Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays (09:30–18:00)

Shared Creative Studios & Tool Pool (L'Atelier Mutualisé)

Shared brushes, natural earth pigments, and wooden palettes organized on communal studio shelving — Fig. 2 — The mutualized equipment bank at Le Haut Presbytère: shared brushes, mineral pigments, carving gouges, and linocut rollers maintained by volunteer stewards (Banque d'outils et de matériaux partagés pour les créateurs autodidactes).

Self-taught artists often struggle with lack of space, poor lighting, and the high cost of specialized equipment. Our 140 m² shared studio at LE HAUT PRESBYTERE, 04140 AUZET provides fourteen beechwood easels, a manual cylinder etching and relief press, reinforced woodcarving benches, clay banding wheels, and a 650-volume art reference library.

Target Audience: Adult and teenage self-taught creators, amateur painters, sculptors, printmakers, and craftspeople living in Auzet and the Blanche Valley.

Program 02 • Every Wednesday (14:00–17:30) & 1st Sunday of the Month

Intergenerational Skill-Sharing Workshops (Ateliers de Transmission)

Senior volunteer artist teaching children and parents how to mix earth pigments and carve relief blocks — Fig. 3 — Intergenerational Wednesday workshop in Auzet: local elders and self-taught creators guiding village youth in botanical relief printing and clay modeling (Atelier intergénérationnel gratuit du mercredi après-midi).

Each week, experienced volunteer creators lead hands-on initiation sessions open to children (accompanied by a parent or guardian), teenagers, working adults, and seniors. Sessions cover relief printmaking, botanical drawing of alpine flora, natural ochre tempera painting, hand-built terracotta, and bookbinding.

Target Audience: All residents of the 04140 territory and neighboring communes; zero prior experience required and all materials provided free of charge.

Program 03 • Quarterly 12-Day Cycles (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter)

Non-Commercial Public Exhibitions & Live Mediation

Four times a year, our ground-floor hall transforms into a free public gallery showcasing works created by local self-taught artists. Every exhibition features live demonstration tables where creators display their sketchbooks, raw materials, and tools, inviting visitors to test the techniques themselves.

Target Audience: General public, families, rural school groups, and visitors to the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Admission is 100% free and no artworks are sold.

Program 04 • May to October Outdoor Field Sessions

Collaborative Territorial Art & Rural Heritage Projects

Working alongside municipal authorities and heritage associations, our creators design and build permanent collective artworks in public spaces—including carved wooden trail markers, dry-stone land-art installations, and ceramic village frescoes celebrating the pastoral memory of Auzet.

Target Audience: Local citizens, hikers, rural youth, and amateur craftspeople wishing to co-author lasting public works for the commune.

2. Operational Schedule, Locations & Free Participation Guidelines

All indoor activities take place at our official headquarters: LE HAUT PRESBYTERE, 04140 AUZET. To ensure smooth studio stewardship and comfortable workspace allocation for everyone, we maintain a clear, predictable weekly schedule throughout the year:

Practical Guidelines for First-Time Participants

Joining a workshop or stepping into the shared studios at REVES PASSIONS CREATEURS requires no complicated administrative procedure. First-time visitors are given a guided tour of the five creative stations, introduced to the volunteer stewards on duty, and invited to test materials immediately.

Every participant signs our collective studio safety and ecological charter, committing to use exclusively non-toxic, solvent-free materials, to clean shared brushes and tools at the end of each session, and to respect the strictly non-commercial character of our Association Loi 1901 (RNA W043000789, SIREN 512273061).
